SALAMA has won the “Best Takaful Operator” Award at Islamic Business & Finance Awards 2019. The winners of the 14th Islamic Business & Finance Awards were announced at the award ceremony held at The Ritz Carlton Hotel, DIFC, Dubai on Wednesday, 23rd October 2019, attended by Islamic bankers and financiers from around the world.
“This award is a testimony to SALAMA’s strong foundation and values on which the Takaful business is built, always keeping customers at the heart of the business. We are thankful to all partners for their trust, belief and ongoing support.” Said Mr. Parvaiz Siddiq(CEO – SALAMA) while receiving the award.

‘BEST FAMILY TAKAFUL OPERATOR – ME’
AWARDS 2016
We are glad to announce that SALAMA has won the “Best Family Takaful Operator – ME” Award at Islamic Business & Finance Awards. The winners of the 11th Islamic Business & Finance Awards were announced at the award ceremony held at Emirates Towers Hotel, Dubai on Wednesday, 23 November 2016, attended by 200 Islamic bankers and financiers from around the world.
A total of nearly 28,000 votes were cast across 49 voted-for categories in the online poll held on www.cpifinancial.net. This award is a testimony to SALAMA’s strong foundation and values on which the Family Takaful Business is built, always keeping customers at the heart of the business. We are thankful to all partners for their trust, belief and ongoing support.
Our winners represent the very best in Islamic finance, and each should feel proud of what they have accomplished. We look forward to what these exemplary institutions will do in 2017,” said Robin Amlôt, Chief Executive Officer of CPI Financial, publisher of Islamic Business & Finance.
The award was received by SALAMA Family Takaful’s Assistant General Manager Mr. Debashish Maitra and was handed over by Mohammed Juma – Vice Chairman of CPI Financial & William Mullally – Editor, Islamic Business & Finance Magazine.

AWARDS 2015
We are proud to win the “Family Takaful Company of The year” Award at Middle East Insurance Industry Awards (MIIA) on Nov 17th 2015. This award ceremony was organized by Middle East Insurance Review and Dubai International Financial Center.
With more than 200 entries for different categories within the region SALAMA was shortlisted alongside two other nominees for this award.
This award is a testimony to the strength and foundation on which the Family Takaful Business is built keeping customers at the core of our strategies.
The citation for SALAMA Family Takaful Award stated – “A diverse range of individual and group products, together with innovative means of enhancing customer reach, have won SALAMA the FAMILY TAKAFUL COMPANY OF THE YEAR”
The award was received by SALAMA Family Takaful’s General Manager Mr. Noel D’mello who said “This has been possible because of the hard work, dedication of each and every staff member of SALAMA, the strong belief and support of our partners and distributors.
