Terms and Conditions

1. By participating in the competition, each participant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these official rules and the decisions of SALAMA, which are final and binding in all matters related to #SALAMAKindBeingsOfDubai competition. Winning prize(s) is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
2. The competition will run from 09h00 UAE time on 19 Sep 2022 to 23h59 Dubai time on 10 Oct 2022 on the Instagram, Facebook and SALAMA’s official website.
3. The competition is only open to genuine participants from 18 years or older in the UAE.
4. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
5. Participants may share original content without duplication of entries with the correct hashtag while following all the rules.
6. Winner will be selected by the SALAMA jury.
7. Winners will be determined by SALAMA basis on confirmation that all the steps have been followed correctly.
8. Winner will be declared daily on SALAMA social media channels’ stories with their profiles tagged.
9. SALAMA team will attempt to contact potential winners through direct messages.
10. The winners will be contacted daily from 19 Sep to 10 Oct. Potential winners must revert with their contact details within 24 hours to claim the prize. In case the selected winner doesn’t respond within 24 hours of selection or is not able to adhere to competition dates or does not meet all the conditions, SALAMA reserves the right to select and offer the prize to the next best entry.
11. One profile is entitled to win the prize only once.
12. Under no circumstances, may participants transfer their participation to another person.
13. Any dispute or attempt for negotiation will not be tolerated. SALAMA reserves the right to terminate the competition in cases of issues regarding the selection of winners. 
14. Participants of #SALAMAKindBeingsOfDubai competition will not be entitled to any compensation or employee benefits of any kind from any company and agrees to refrain from seeking same.
15. As submissions are received, SALAMA will vet all entries for suitability.
16. Only entries received during the competition period as stipulated in the terms and conditions will qualify as potential winners.
17. The competition is only open to genuine participants from 18 years or older in the UAE.
18. The prize may only be taken as stated and cannot be changed. 
19. Use of profanity, offensive and abusive language is strictly prohibited and will lead to permanent blocking and reporting to the authorities if required. SALAMA reserves the right to disqualify on the basis of misbehavior and misconduct.
20. By participating in #SALAMAKindBeingsOfDubai competition, each participant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these official rules and the decisions of SALAMA team, which are final and binding in all matters related to #SALAMAKindBeingsOfDubai competition.
21. SALAMA team will not be responsible for late or lost entries due to social platform-related issues.
22. Decisions are final in every situation, including any not covered above, and correspondence challenging the decisions will not be addressed.
23. SALAMA reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition or any of the arrangements, schedules, plans or other items directly or indirectly related to the competition, at any time and for any reason if deemed necessary in its opinion.
24. Trademarks belong to their respective owners. All rights reserved. By submitting the entry, the applicant grants SALAMA a non-exclusive worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, display publicly, distribute, modify, and alter any materials, including without limitation photo material, submitted in connection with the competition (to the extent not assigned to SALAMA hereunder), with the right to sublicense and assign the foregoing rights. Participants hereby represent that they own all rights to materials, including without limitation photo/video material, submitted in connection with the competition.
25. #SALAMAKindBeingsOfDubai competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Meta or any of its other companies.
26. Participants must adhere to Facebook/Instagram policies.
27. SALAMA’s decision is final in every situation, including any not covered above, and will not respond to correspondence justifying its decision.
28. In case of no valid story entries during the contest duration, SALAMA reserves the right to skip the winner announcement for that specific day.
29. Rewards will be distributed to the announced winners after the #SALAMAKindBeingsOfDubai competition ends.
30. #SALAMAKindBeingsOfDubai winners may be approached for contributing in SALAMA Kind Beings Of Dubai promotion activities through content in the form of videos, podcasts or ads.
31. By participating in the #SALAMAKindBeingsOfDubai competition, you accept all terms and conditions of the competition listed above.

Privacy Policy:

1. Subject to applicable law, SALAMA reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify these rules or administration of /or suspend this event in whole or in part without prior notice with no obligation or liability, including if for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned, whether due to technical failure, or computer virus, tampering, fraud or corruption of security or proper administration of the event or other causes beyond the control of SALAMA.
2. SALAMA accepts no responsibility of whatsoever nature for any injury, loss, expense or damage suffered or incurred by any participant or winner as a result of participating in this competition or as a result of accepting the prizes.
