Basmah patient support program
Basmah Awareness is the first of its kind initiative by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) to provide full coverage for breast, colon and cervical screening and treatment for all Dubai residents with Basic health insurance plan.
Eligibility criteria for Basmah program
The program is available only for:
- Existing and new residents will become eligible for enrolment into the Basmah programme after being a U.A.E. resident for a year.
- Basmah is for Dubai visa holders only. LSB members are eligible for coverage for cancer treatments in specific, Centre Of Excellence (COE) providers mandated by DHA, while HSB members can avail special rates at all COE providers.
- The above would apply for existing and new residents in the Emirate of Dubai who are not diagnosed with cancer before entering the country
- Existing and new residents who were diagnosed with cancer prior to entering the country will become eligible for enrolment only after year of residence.
- Eligibility for enrollment into the program will be based only on confirmed Diagnosis from the Centre of Excellence (CoE).
