Hepatitis patient support program
Expats based in Dubai with Basic health insurance receives coverage for two types of Hepatitis (B&C) treatment under the Hepatitis awareness and patient support program.
This initiative is in line with the WHO goal of eliminating Hepatitis worldwide by 2030. Hepatitis virus is responsible for inflammation and infection of the liver, which can lead to a serious, chronic condition in infected patients, and in some cases, a liver transplant might be needed to save a patient’s life.
